  • Nothing can stop DR Software with ChemGes version 59.0!

An incredible new feature: importing data from an SDS.

DR Software recently released update 59.0 of its ChemGes solution, packed with new features and, as usual, all the latest regulatory updates. But this update goes much further, as users will now benefit from an impressive feature that will save them considerable time when entering raw materials information: the ability to import data into ChemGes directly from external MSDSs in PDF format.

It’s included in ChemGes 59.0

New function – Automated import of safety data sheets

Aware that the process of importing safety data sheets from suppliers represents a considerable part of the daily workload for regulatory affairs managers, DR Software has developed a new ChemGes import function that will considerably speed up and simplify this tedious stage of the process.

This latest release allows you to import external data sheets in PDF format directly into ChemGes. The system automatically analyses the documents and creates the corresponding substances without any further manual intervention. Features and operating procedure:

  • Start importing the PDF file by simply dragging and dropping the file into the main ChemGes screen
  • Automatic analysis and creation of substances from safety data sheets PDF
  • Updating existing substance records
  • Possibility of importing both raw materials and preparations
  • Automatic identification and creation of components for preparations
  • The data transferred are the designations (main designations and synonyms with automatic translation into the base language), the physical/chemical data available in ChemGes, the GHS classification, the transport classification and the toxicological values insofar as they can be attributed to a type of test present in ChemGes (including organs).
And that’s not all!
In line with DR Software’s commitment to customer satisfaction and to maximising the value of your investment in ChemGes software, this functionality is available with your ChemGes maintenance contract at no extra cost as it is included in the base module.
